Woke up this morning and grabbed ourselves a blog.

Everyone else is doing it, and we've got things to say, show, and share. What's hot at the store right now? Dita von Teese's Burlesque and the Art of the Teese, Found II, and Toer's The Fugitive to start. Thanks for joining us, and there's a lot more to come.

Dear Subterranean,

YOU ARE THE BEST BOOKSTORE I EVER LIKED!! I miss you all a hell of a lot. Still haven't found my favorite bookstore in LA, which means there is a dearth of good novels in my coffer. Good thing I have images of the Staff Picks shelf burned into the back of my third eyeball. I started The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle last night, and right now I'm trying to decide whether to spend the next four hours reading that or playing Civilization III.

Kelly -- thanks for recommending my last three books -- the Murakami book, The New York Trilogy, and They Went Whistling (actually, I don't know whether you or Javier picked that one - thanks for the present!) -- you've been keeping me satisfied from afar.

Love to you both!
